Grady Washington Langley

Grady W. Langley, 88 of Romance, died Friday, May 18, 2007. Born February 1, 1919 in Joy, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Oscar Langley and Zora Quattlebaum Langley. Mr. Langley was a Charter member of Pioneer Missionary Baptist Church which was his "first life". He was an Army Veteran of World War II where he was awarded two Purple Hearts, the Bronze Star and also the Silver Star. He is preceded in death by his wife, Annie Mae Langley; one daughter, Sherrie Snelson; three brothers, Brady Midge Langley; Eugene Langley; Harold Langley; two sisters, Lela Bailey; Julia Laffoon; and also five other siblings.

Survivors include one son, Ricky "Goob" Langley of Quitman, AR; one daughter, Brenda Weidner of Romance, AR; one brother, Lanie Langley of Searcy, AR; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
