Gerry Childers

Gerry M. Childers, 73, of the Rose Bud - Sidon Community, died October 14, 2010. Mrs. Childers was born May 2, 1937 in Sidon to the late John and Vida Hare Selvidge.

Mrs. Childers was a member of the Sidon Baptist Church and was a beautician. She loved raising flowers and loved her dogs.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, L.A. Childers of the home; one son, Rick Childers of Searcy; a sister, Leachel Porter of Searcy; and one grandson, Matthew Childers.

The visitation will be 1pm Saturday October 16 until the time of the funeral service at 2pm in the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Chapel.

Interment will follow in Sidon Cemetery under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
