Georgia Pearl Moon

Georgia Pearl Moon, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026. Born on January 18, 1944 at home, Georgia was the cherished daughter of Willie and Verneal Holt, the oldest of 13 kids.

Her warmth and vibrant spirit touched many lives, and she will be remembered for her endless love, laughter and joy. As a devoted stay-at-home mom, Georgia dedicated her life to nurturing her family with endless love and laughter. Her home was always open, filled with the aroma of home cooked meals, and echoing with the sounds of laughter and music.

Georgia had a zest for life that was infectious. She was never without a smile and had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued. Her love for Elvis, fishing, horror movies, and old westerns was well known. She could often be found enjoying these hobbies with her family and friends. Georgia also had a passion for singing, dancing and drawing, talents that she generously shared with those around her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rollie Freeman; son, Willie Freeman, daughter, Sissy Freeman; granddaughter, Kayli Statter; 5 brothers; 4 sisters.

Georgia’s legacy lives on through her loving family. She is survived by Johnny and Lanette Freeman; Georgia Stattler; 16 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; and a brother. Her family was her pride and joy, she cherished the time spent with each of them.

A celebration of Georgia’s life will be held on October 15, 2026 from 12 to 2 at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home located on 2616 S Main St. Friends and family are invited to gather and honor the memory of a remarkable woman whose life was a testament to love and kindness. Her spirit will forever live in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
