Freda Mary Baldwin

Freda Mary Baldwin, 85, of Searcy formally of Paragould, Arkansas passed away Sunday, March 5th at her home. She was born July 15, 1931 in Paragould, Arkansas to the late Elvy and Omer (Moore) Hyde.

Freda was a member of First Baptist Church in Searcy. She loved needlepoint crafts, and gardening. Freda was a very caring and giving person. She also had a real love for her pets. However, her family was her life, she truly treasured them.

Left to cherish Freda’s memory are her three sons, Andy Schug of Beebe, Arkansas, Pat Baldwin (Robin) of Sturgis, South Dakota, and Lee Baldwin (Linda) of Elm Springs, South Dakota; one brother, Darrell Hyde of Flint, Michigan; nine grandchildren, Josh Coupe, Estee Aiken, Tessa Gunderson, Tabor Baldwin, Casey Matt, Kelsey Johnson, Dylen Baldwin, Ashley Brazier, and Meighan Anderson; and fourteen great grandchildren; and life long friend Dr. George Wadley.

In addition to her parents Freda was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Baldwin; and one son, Mike Baldwin.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 8th from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.

Graveside services will start at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 8th at Pine Knot Cemetery in Paragould, Arkansas under the direction of Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
