Franklin Bell

May 22, 1929 — December 26, 2019

Franklin Alphus Bell, 90, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, December 26, 2019.  He was born on May 22, 1929 to the late Alphus and Mae Bell (Hardin) Bell in Highbank, Texas.

 

Frank was a good Christian man and was a dedicated member of Valley Baptist Church for 33 years.  He loved his family deeply.  Frank also loved singing and previously sung in a gospel quartet called the Goodnewsmen.  He was also known to like eating fish and was ready at the drop of a hat to go and eat a little.  Frank will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 33 years; Ollie Bell, two step-sons; Ronnie Betts (Debbie) and Randy Betts, one step-daughter; Nancy Williams, one daughter; Patricia Conway (Thomas), sixteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

 

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one son; Tony Bell, and one daughter; Karen Betts.

 In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Valley Baptist Church.
