Dear Letha, Sandy and Billy Wayne, your loss is shared by so many that have known you and your loved one (Dean Altom) these past years. I have many memories of being together with you in our younger days and the times we shared the love of music together. Dean was very particular about music. He was always my best "critic". It was never to harm me, but to help me get it right. When it came to playing and singing , Dean wanted our sound as the Joytones to be the best it could be, so needless to say, I was challenged many times, but I am the better for it. Your love and encouragement have always been a help to me and I thank God for your friendship and that you were put into our lives. Now may the God of all comfort and compassion be near you and your family as you grieve. I love you and will cherish the memory of Dean Altom. You both have shaped my life into what I am today; a lover of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and my joy is to give God the Praise.
