Ethel P. Grimes

Ethel P. Grimes, 91, of Searcy, died February 16, 2012. She was born February 23, 1921 in Ratcliff, Arkansas to the late E.D. and Amberzine Owens Lindsey.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Grimes was preceded in death by two brothers and nine sisters.

She is survived by her son, Gary Davis and wife Sandra of Searcy; five grandchildren, Ryan, Jeff, and Jody Davis, Stephanie Marquez, and Melanie Ward; and ten great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held Sunday, February 20, from 6-8 p.m. at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, at Foster's Chapel Cemetery outside Searcy under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

Gary, our prayers are with you and your family at this time. So sorry to hear about your mom. She was the sweetest lady I ever knew. I just loved that woman so much. I remember going to her house when I was a kid and she always had homemade biscuits to give me. A very sweet and loving lady. She will be missed dearly.
