Elizabeth Mae Lackey

Elizabeth Mae Lackey, 82, of Searcy passed away Tuesday, November 19th, at Unity Health Medical Center. She was born August 29, 1937 in McRae, Arkansas to the late James and Wilma (Liles) Langley.

Elizabeth was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She retired from the Matthews Corporation. She also worked of Leisure Lodge in Searcy. She lived her life for her family. She cherished them all. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, William Lackey of Beebe; two daughters, Suzie Jones of Farmington, Arkansas and Carrie Leamons of Austin, Arkansas; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and one twin sister, Mary Clayton of Searcy.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Taylor; one son, David Lackey; and one brother, Carthal Langley.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 23rd at 12:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church in McRae, Arkansas.

All Cremation services have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
