Eileen Hendrix

Eileen Hendrix was born May 29th, 1953 to John Hendrix Sr. and the late Dorothy C. Adams. She was the granddaughter of the late Herbert and Luma Chatman and the late Tommy and Rose Hendrix. She was of the Methodist Faith. Eileen was employed at Searcy Healthcare as a CNA for 15 years until her health failed her. She was a collector of stuffed bears and candles. She was also a 1973 graduate from Searcy High School.
She is survived by her father, John Hendrix Sr. of Memphis, Tennessee; one son, Rodney Hendrix of Searcy; seven sisters, Kathy Adams of Searcy, Johnetta Hart of West Point, Lumie Harris and husband Roy of Bald Knob, Virginia Brewer and husband Ace of Kensett, Karen Hendrix, Reba Hendrix and Stephanie Williamson and husband Lee of Memphis, Tennessee; one sister-in-law, Vicky Hendrix of Cabot; brothers, Dennis Hendrix and wife Glory and Darryl Hendrix and wife Karen also of Memphis. She leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews as well.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one brother, John Hendrix, Jr.
A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 2, 2013 at St. Mary's CME Church, 205 S. Sowell St. Searcy, Arkansas, under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
