Edward Eugene Ramsey

Edward Eugene Ramsey, 84 of Kensett, Arkansas passed away Monday, September 28, 2009. Mr. Ramsey was born in West Point on June 6, 1925 to the late Robert and Mary Magdalene Mays Ramsey. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Ramsey was preceded in death by his wife, Orene O. Ramsey, four sons; Larry, Tommy, Randy and Charlie Ramsey; two daughters; Barbara and Debra and one brother, David Ramsey.

Mr. Ramsey is survived by three sons, Ron Ramsey (Donna) and Johnny Ramsey (Sissy) both of Kensett, Don Ramsey (Jackie) of Bald Knob.; two daughters, Judy Crain (Gean) of Searcy, Susan Eason (Dietrick) of Kensett.; one sister, Mary Ellen Beals of Judsonia; twenty grandchildren and forty-one great-grandchildren. Also, many other relatives and a host of friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home of Searcy, AR.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Kensett First Baptist Church in Kensett, AR.

Interment will follow at Kensett Cemetery in Kensett, Arkansas.
