Earl Howard Sutton

Earl Howard Sutton, 89, of Kensett, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Unity Health Hospital in Searcy. He was born May 25, 1933, in Searcy to the late Leander Edward Sutton and Bulah Charlotte (McKowan) Sutton. He was a United States Navy and Air Force Veteran, having served in Korea. He retired from the ministry after 43 years and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Velma (Ramsey) Sutton; son, Orval Earl Sutton of Beebe; daughters, Theresa Wilds of North Carolina and Charlotte Sutton of Beebe; 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Floyd, Eugene, and Orval; sisters, Louise, Agnes, and Joyce “Lottie”.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25, 2023, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home with services to follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery with military honors.
