Douglas Blaine Gentry

Douglas Blaine Gentry, 73, of Searcy passed away Friday, October 23, 2015 at Unity Health. He was born January 13, 1942 in Searcy to the late Walter and Ruth (Gaither) Gentry.
Doug was a member of the Searcy Jaycee Club, Searcy Chamber of Commerce, and the Kiwanis Club. Doug was also a member of Faith Assembly of God Church for over 50 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed.

Doug is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carolyn Gentry of Searcy; two daughters, Tonya Morgan (Tom) of Cleburne, Texas, and Lisa Isbell (Shane) of Carlisle, Arkansas; two brothers, Frank Gentry (Helen), and Tom Gentry all of Searcy; five grandchildren, Hunter Morgan, Garrett Morgan, Reed Morgan, Colton Isbell, and Nathan Isbell.

In addition to his parents Doug was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Van Meter and one brother, Newton Gentry.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 26th from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Faith Assembly of God Church.
Funeral services will start at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 26th at Faith Assembly of God Church with Pastor Brian Mize officiating. Interment will follow at Foster's Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
