Dorothy Ann Bilyeu

Dorothy "Ann" Bilyeu, 83, of Searcy formally of Springfield, Missouri passed away Monday, October 24th at Unity Health in Searcy. She was born August 17, 1933 in Springfield, Missouri to the late Orville D. and Marjorie (Payne) Campbell.

Ann was a Christian of the Baptist Faith. She graduated from St. John's School of Nursing. Ann was a devoted nurse. She loved her profession and being able to share it with her sister, Nancy, who was also a nurse. Ann loved her siblings, they were her best friends. She treasured her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She cherished all her memories with them. She had a special companion, Jack Arnold and loved all her friends at Harding Place.

Left to cherish Ann's memory are her two daughters, Kathryn Shoffner (Curtis) of Springfield, Missouri, and Laurie Watson (Bobby) of Romance, Arkansas; two sons, Marcus Alexander (Kama) of Rescue, California and Timothy Alexander of Grand View, Missouri; eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her first husband, A.W. Alexander, her second husband, Harlan Knapp, and her third husband, Max Bilyeu; one son, Michael Clinton Alexander; one brother, John Fredrick Campbell; and three sisters, Nancy Sue Howard, Mary Frances Edwards, and Linda Lou Campbell.

A funeral service will be held for Ann in Springfield, Missouri later in the week, directed by Green Lawn North Funeral Home.

All funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
