Dixie Mae Porter

Dixie Mae "Sister" Porter, 99 of Searcy, died Monday, October 2, 2006. She was born June 11, 1907 in White County, Arkansas, the daughter of Marl and Nettie (Horn) Cox. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Methodist Church, the Eastern Star of Pangburn and the Letona Extension Homemaker's Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Calvin Cyle Frazier; her husband, Bill Porter; two sons, Van and Jack Frazier; a brother, Thomas Cox; a sister, Christine Plant; a granddaughter, Angela Frazier; and two great-great-grandsons, Mason and Seth Saul.

She is survived by her son, Larry Frazier of Ft. Worth, Texas; her sister, Ruby Price of Searcy, AR; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; fourteen great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
