David Hart was born September 29, 1938 to the late Andrew Hart and Rachel Abigail Hannah-Hart in Kensett, Arkansas. He was the grandson of the late Elex and Lottie Arnold-Hart of Searcy, Arkansas and the late Rev. and Mrs. Albert Hannah of Alabama. He professed Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age at Arnold Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church (Arnold Tabernacle) in Kensett, Arkansas where he remained an active member. He was a member of the Men's Senior Choir; Men's Sunday School; the Board of Trustees; Christian Men's Fellowship; and former Church Treasurer. He was also one of the many caretakers of Crow Cemetery. He enjoyed visiting with friends, playing cards and participating in all church activities.

He worked for Doniphan Milling Company for 20 plus years before going to work at Union Pacific Railroad in 1966. He retired from the railroad accident free in 1998.

David was united in Holy Matrimony to Johnetta Hendrix on August 20, 1977. To this union one child, Melinda Raven Hart was born. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant daughter; and also five sisters, Rogean Black; Delois Hart; Jearline Payne; Vivren Brown; Drucille Hart.

David leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Johnetta Hart; children, Melinda Raven Hart of Jonesboro, AR; Johnny Ray Fleming of Flint, MI; David Lee Hart (Judy) of Kensett, AR; Rose Mary Johnson (Parrish) of Plano, TX; George Edward Hart (Ozelia) of Maryville, TN; Stanley Eugene Hart (Mina) of Anna, TX; Dorothy Renee Miller (Charles) of Rockford, IL; Randall Scott Brunson Sr. of Knoxville, TN; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; one brother, Rev. James Hart (Katie) of West Point, AR; two sisters, Mattie B. Young of Little Rock, AR; Macie Lee Rice (Adell) of Kensett, AR; one aunt, Rev. Anna Goodlow of Kensett, AR. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
