Cordia Erlean McGowen

Cordia Erlean (Pat) McGowen, 85 of Pangburn passed away Friday, October 9, 2009. She was born October 12, 1923 in Dewey, Arkansas to the late Jefferson Davis & Hattie Mary Fields Davenport. She attended Pangburn Assembly of God. She loved the Lord, life & her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Bobby Darrel Howell & Jerry Lee Howell; one daughter, Billie Jean Lockard; four brothers, Jim Davenport, Homer Davenport, Hershel Clark & Jesse Clark; five sisters, Ollie Fleming, Susie Davenport, Beatrice Johnson, Hazel Steward & Lela Patterson.
She is survived by a daughter, Glenda Sue House of Pangburn; five grandchildren, Laurie Carter, Lenee Sadamitsu, Kimmy Brand, Bridget Reesnes & Jerry Howell, Jr.; six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren., and her daughter-in-law, Glenda Howell. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives & a host of friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 11 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home

Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 12, 2:00 PM at the funeral home Chapel with interment to follow at Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn.
