Charles Edwin Sontag, 73 of Enola, Arkansas passed away June 8, 2007. Mr. Sontag was born March 12, 1934 in Eldorado, AR. Mr. Sontag Retired as a MSGT in the United States Army after 22 years. He served three tours in Vietnam as a Green Beret with Special Forces. He was a Mason and member of Holland Lodge #158 in Quitman, Arkansas. He also was member of Rice Young VFW Post 7514.

He was preceded by his previous wife Aiko Sontag, six brothers Thomas, Howard, Robert, L.B., Wayne and Kenneth Sontag. One Grandson Adam Sontag and one Grand nephew Travis Wilson.

He is survived by his wife Rose Sontag of Enola, AR. Four sons; Charles E. Sontag II and wife Janette of Benton, AR, Robert Bruce Sontag and wife Brenda of LaVernia, TX, Douglas Phillip Frach of California, and Thomas Ezra Sontag of Greenbrier, AR; two step-daughters, Timbre Stevens of Memphis, Tennessee, Star Emerson of Brooklyn,New York . One brother David Sontag of Little Rock, AR. Three sisters Hazel Wilson of Little Rock, AR, Carolyn Bolin of Sherrill, AR, and Betty Sanders of Little Rock, AR. Five Grandson's Zachary, Ethan, Matthew, Coley, and Skyler Sontag., two step-granddaughter's; Mercedes and Catrina Stevens of Memphis, Tennessee. Three step-grandsons; Jagger Thompson of Brooklyn, New York, Jacob and Blake Taylor of Benton,
