Carthel E. Cobb

Carthel E. Cobb, 85 of Searcy, died Sunday, September 24, 2006. He was born March 14, 1921 in White County, Arkansas. He was a member and deacon at Temple Baptist Church and was retired from Arkansas Power and Light. Mr. Cobb is preceded in death by his parents, James William and Grace Elizabeth Castleberry Cobb; one grandson, Bill Butler; and one brother, L.E. Cobb.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Lucille Cobb; one son, Fred Cobb and wife Betty Joyce of Searcy; one daughter, Linda Butler and husband James of Searcy; four grandchildren, Lisa Neely; James D. Butler; Brian Cobb; Josh McGowen; seven great grandchildren.
