Carolyn C. Leamon

Carolyn C. Leamon, 94, of Searcy, Arkansas passed away April 28, 2026. She was born December 2, 1931 in Augusta, Arkansas to Walter Coggins and Grace Griffin Coggins. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 67 years, Paul D. Leamon, and a son, David Leamon.

Carolyn was a talented and creative person; she was a quilter and a prolific landscape artist. She lived in Memphis, Tennessee for many years and relocated back to Arkansas after Paul retired. She loved her church choirs over the years and was a member of Searcy First Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Paula Stokes of Merritt Island, Florida; 2 granddaughters, Jennifer Sipe of Tacoma, Washington and Jessica Alexander of Merritt Island, Florida, and 5 great-grandchildren.
