Carolyn Ann Hattabaugh

October 10, 1941 — October 23, 2015

Carolyn Ann Hattabaugh, 74, of Joy went to be with the Lord, Friday, October 23rd at her home. She was born October 10, 1941 in Searcy, Arkansas to Joe and Dortha (Townsend) Butler.
Carolyn was member of Valley Baptist Church. Carolyn loved to travel and to seek out new adventures. She was a food connoisseur. She loved to watch movies. Carolyn really loved life. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 14 years, Bill Hattabaugh; three sons, Jon Collins (Stacy), Randy Collins all of Searcy and Gaylon Hattabaugh (Vivian) of Bald Knob; four daughters, Melissa Toomer (Jon) of Searcy, Diana Thompson of Bald Knob, Rita Southerland (Steve) of Judsonia, and Debbie Roberts (Troy) of Bald Knob; her mother, Dortha Butler; one brother, James Butler (Linda) of Searcy; two sisters, Dottie Pennington (Jimmy) of Stark, Louisiana, and Jonnie Hughes (Melvin) of Searcy; and a multitude of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Collins, and her father, Joe Butler.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, October 26th at Valley Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 27th at Faith Assembly Cemetery with Pastor James Hays officiating.
All funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
In Lieu of flowers the family ask that you make a donation to the Searcy Children's Home or Valley Baptist Church.
