Brenda Smithey Hunter
Brenda Smithey Hunter, 65, of Searcy passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014. She was born July 24, 1949 to Melvin and Carrie Foman Smithey in Searcy, Arkansas.
Brenda was a loving, outgoing individual who was a best friend to everybody. Her pride and joy was her grand-daughter, Hannah Hunter whom she cherished. She was a wonderful mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. She was loved by all who knew her and she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her boys, Wyatt and Wade Hunter both of Searcy; one brother, Carl Smithey of Searcy; one sister, Millie Miller of Wichita, Kansas; and one grand-daughter, Hannah Hunter; also surviving her are several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Norma Jean Smithey; and one brother, Claude Smithey.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2014 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with interment following at Harmony Cemetery.

Brenda will be greatly missed. She was always so full of love and positivity, and she lit up when she spoke of her sons, her granddaughter, and animals. Heaven just got a lot more fun because sweet Brenda is there!
