Bobbie Lea Hughes

Bobbie Lea Hughes, 80, of Searcy passed away Tuesday, October 24th at UAMS in Little Rock. She was born September 12, 1937 in Stone County, Arkansas to the late Charles and Josie (Haywood) Stokes.

Bobbie was a member of Kensett Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who was loved by all who knew her. Bobbie will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish Bobbie’s memory is her husband of 64 years, Marvin Hughes; one son, Terry Hughes of Searcy; two daughters, Pat Goodwin (Roger) and Rebecca Adkins (Duff) all of Searcy; six grandchildren, Laura, Eric, Candace, Amanda, Gina, and Shane; twelve great grandchildren; and one sister, Maxine Duncan of Kensett.

In addition to her parents she was preceded by two brothers, Almond Stokes and Lloyd Stokes; and one sister, Orene Ramsey.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 27th from 6:00-8:00pm at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 28th at 12:00pm at Kensett Church of Christ.
