Billy Gene Churchwell

Billy Gene Churchwell, 66 of Searcy passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010. He was born November 16, 1943 to the late William Arthur and Amy Colwell Churchwell. He was a member of Searcy Faith Assembly of God Church and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, William Churchwell, Stanley Henderson and J.E. Henderson; and an infant daughter.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Churchwell of Searcy; a son, Billy Craig Churchwell and his wife Bristy of Searcy; a daughter, Tiffney King and her husband Tony of Pangburn; a granddaughter, Casey King of Pangburn and a grandson, Justin King of Pangburn; two brothers, John Churchwell and his wife Betty of Griffithville and Thomas Churchwell and his wife Lucy of Searcy; and a sister, Jeanette Feather of Griffithville.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 2, 2010 at Faith Assembly of God in Searcy. Interment will follow at Faith Assembly of God Cemetery.
