Betty A. Hollis

Betty A Hollis, 91, of Higginson, Arkansas passed away Friday, August 16, 2024. She was born May 24, 1933 to Marion Cox and Mary Hawkins Cox, She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.C. Hollis; daughter, Mary Gentry; and 3 brothers.

Betty was a member of Cloverdale Church of Christ and loved Sunday prayer meetings. She enjoyed working in her yard and flower gardening.

She is survived by a daughter, Anna Bennett (Larry); 2 sons, Chester Hollis (Anita) and Charles Hollis, Jr. (Brenda); 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Johnny Cox (June), Nathaniel Cox, Jerome Cox; and a sister, Julia Bryant.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home Chapel with services to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in the White County Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
