Betty Jane Anderson

March 24, 1926 — May 18, 2021

Betty Jane Anderson, 95, of Heber Springs went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, May 18th at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 24, 1926 in Council Bluff, Iowa to the late Bryan and Birdie (Butts) McKinney.

Betty was in the ministry with her late husband, William Anderson for 48 years. She was kind, caring, compassionate and special to everyone who knew her. Betty was a wonderful cook and made the absolute best pickles. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Betty will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, one son, Jimmy Anderson and wife, Ava of Heber Springs; one daughter, Malia Brogan and husband, Gary of Romance; seven grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren; one brother, Jerry McKinney and wife, Sandy; and many extended family members.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, William Anderson; one brother, James McKinney, and one sister; Kathleen Thompson.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM, Friday, May 21st at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will start at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 21st in the Searcy McEuen Chapel with burial following at Romance Cemetery.

 

All Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
