Arkie Lee Grimmett

Arkie Lee Grimmett, 76, of Searcy passed away Friday, March 30th at Unity Health Medical Center. She was born June 21, 1941 in Floral, Arkansas to the late Coleman and Izora (Gay) Jennings.

Arkie worked at Barb’s BBQ in Searcy for 26 years. She was a loving wife, mother and friend who will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 15 years, James Grimmett; two sons, Ronnie Pasley of Marion, Arkansas and Ricky Pasley (Dana) of Searcy; one daughter, Dayna Lawson (Robert) of Searcy; one stepson, Michael Grimmett (Melinda) of Water Valley, Mississippi; one stepdaughter, Anita Dunn (Ed) of Judsonia; and a special goddaughter, Barbara Hill (Carlon) of Searcy; one sister, Bobbie Jean Cole (Price) of Searcy; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Noel Dean Pasley; and one brother, Cleston Jennings; and sister in law, Joyce Jennings.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 4th from 9:00-10:00am at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 4th at 10:00am in the Searcy McEuen Chapel with burial following at Howell Cemetery.
