Ada Merline Lee

Ada ‘Merline’ Lee, 84, of Searcy passed away September 2, 2019.  She was born on March 3, 1935 in Pecan Wells, Texas to the late Jim Wesley and Lola (Roberts) Woodard.

She was a housewife and extra farm hand for her late husband.  Ada was a member of Central Church of Christ.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters; Nita Key and Ann Gongaware both of Searcy, one sister; Floy Poe of Gainesville, TX, one sister-in-law; Betty Woodard of Comanche, TX, one brother-in-law; Herb Lee and wife June of Branson, MO, eight grandchildren; Emily Clements (Bobby), Amber Michaelis (Gordon), Weslee Key (Kimsley), Melanie Cavender (Chrissy), Rebecca Davis (Daniel), Jennifer Fleming (Aaron), Jeremy Stanley (Summer), Chris Gongaware (Christiana), and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband; Dean Lee, one daughter; Jane Cavender, one grandson, and one brother; Jay Woodard.
